Do you only publish Christian books?
Yes.
Do you publish books in other Languages?
Yes, we can publish books in any foreign language.

Will you consider publishing non-Christian books at all?
No, it is not our area of publishing work or interest.
Who holds the copyright to my book if you publish it for me?
You do! We only help you to publish your book. You are the author, the copyright is always yours.
What types of packages do you have?
We have Bronze, Silver, gold, platinum & Custom packages.
Do you allow instalment payment?
We do not typically do that but we are open to discussion if payment is to be made in No more than 3 parts. Subject to status.
What are the prices?

How many books do I get as the author?
The minimum books you get is 20 personal copies, 6 Library depository copies, I proof copy and 1 electronic copy from us.
How much do I sell my book for?
Prices vary but we always suggest £9.99 per copy for black & White paperback books.
Colour books may start from £9.99 upwards also.
Over priced books do not generally sell but the the final decision is yours.
Do you answer inquiries by telephone?
The amount of authors we have to deal with daily makes it impossible to answer all inquiries by phone but we will telephone authors when necessary or arrange Skype calls. Otherwise we deal with everyone via email as a standard rule. It is cost effective for us to do so.
How much royalty/profit can I get for each book sold?
If sold through bookstores, you may get £2.30-£2.70 per copy after expenses or up to £5/copy if you are retailing it yourself. On Amazon, you may get £1.25-£1.75 per copy - Royalty varies.
How often are royalties paid for the books you sell for me?
Strictly 3 times a year on: January 30th - May 30th - September 30th
How long does it take to publish my book?
30-60days depending on the amount of work to be done for you. If your book has been edited to a high standard it will take less than 30days to produce a draft copy for you.
What are the steps to follow?
Fill our order form online, submitting all the details we ask for.
Our representative will then contact you via email and guide you through the steps to follow.
What are my book size options?
Our Standard sizes are: 6x9; 8.5x5.5 but other sizes are also available.

Sorry, we do not do book marketing!
What if I want a sophisticated marketing for my book?
You will find plenty of ideas on the internet. However we warn authors against wasting their money on frivolous marketing ideas & concepts being promised out there.
What help do I get with my book promotion?
We will give you a list of promotion ideas to help you get your book off to a good start.
What kind of distribution will I get for my book?
Expanded distribution.
Can you explain what an expanded distribution is?
Yes, expanded Distribution offers you the opportunity to access a larger audience through more online retailers, bookstores, libraries, academic institutions, and distributors.
Expanded Distribution will also improve discoverability of your book across all the channels. Your titles can be distributed through both the Amazon.com and other channels.
How does it work?
Most online retailers, bookstores, and libraries find books through purchasing relationships with large distributors. If your book is not listed with these distributors, some retailers may not be able to buy your book, even if a customer specifically requests your title.
Through Expanded Distribution we can distribute and make your title available for order (this does not guarantee that your book will actually be ordered) through the following channels:
Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Borders and other online retailers.
Will I have to pay extra to benefit from the expanded distribution?
No, its all in your package!
Will my book be listed & promoted on Kingdom Gems website also?
Yes, with links for buyers to buy your book from amazon.com
Do you have a book promotion package that I can get hold of?
Yes, we do have one and it is FREE to download/copy from our website.
Will you assign me a contact person to handle my book?
Yes, you will have a staff member dedicated to your book publishing from the beginning to the end of the process.
How much will it cost me to order copies of my book in future?
Paperback [Black & White] are from £5 per copy and colour books start from £6per copy & upwards.
How many copies can I buy/order at a time?
Minimum is 10 books per order but there is no maximum quantity.
Who will assign my book ISBN number & ISBN barcode?
We will. They are included in your package. below is an example:

Who will design my book cover & what is the cost?
We will produce just 1 FREE design book cover for your approval.
If you reject it outright, you will have to pay for the job to be sent away and done by other professionals. We only produce book covers as per our in-house quality standard as you will discover.
We are willing to assist you as much as we can but we will insist that the covers are bright, attractive, easy to notice and have a selling potential. We have a minimum standard for all our books.
What if I want a custom made book design from the start?
We will arrange it for you and advice you of the cost.
Who will write my book blurb?
You will write your own book cover blurb as you know your book and subject matter better though we can make a few suggestions If you are open to it.
Can I include my photo on the book cover in colour?
Yes.
How many photos/images can I include in my book?
5 or more depending on the book publishing package selected.
How many books can I publish at a time?
There is no limit.
My book is in a manuscripts format, can you type it for me?
Yes, but it we will charge you for it as we have to commission a typist.
A quote will be supplied from the onset. We reserve the right to refuse to accept such commission.
We encourage all our authors to get their books typed before sending it to us.
Will I be able to sell my book in my local bookstore?
You will have to approach them and ask. Each store have a different policy.

Will you send my books to the UK Library National depository for me?
We like for our authors to be part of asserting their own copyrights and to enjoy the process, hence We will supply you with 6 books as part of your package which you can then send off to the UK National book depository Libraries.

Legal Deposit is the act of submitting published material to designated libraries and archives.
In the United Kingdom the Legal Deposit Libraries Act 2003 and the Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000 of Ireland make it obligatory for publishers and distributors in the UK and Ireland to deposit their publications within one month of publication to six libraries that collectively maintain the national published archive of the British Isles.
Once deposited what will happen:
Your book will then be recorded in the online catalogue of the libraries. That data is accessible on the worldwide web and people can verify it there. A copy of each book should be sent to The British Library in Wetherby by the author or their representattive. The address is:

Are the Library copies included in my package?

Are there any post publishing fees I need to pay annually? As regards you book – No!
If you have a website through us, you may need to maintain your domain name annual Registration if applicable as well as the cost of hosting your website for as long as you wish to have it available online.

BOOK MARKETING:
This is not our area of expertise or calling.
We do not offer any book marketing ideas, concepts or services. We feel people wishing to market their book and have the money to do so should seek experts in book marketing.
We however warn authors to be weary of spending unreasonable amount of money thinking that will yield some great return.
It often does not!
